An Automatic grading transfer operation allows grades to be automatically submitted to the LMS on the due date. Depending on the LMS the pass back of grades may require the configuration of a 'Start date' on the group/section and offset dates on each on the objectives.
- Log in as the IntAdmin user (this user has access to edit the group/section).
- Click on the user menu drop down, select Organizations and people > Groups.
- View the appropriate group, this is given the same name as the course.
- In the 'Products assigned' area click on 'Edit dates' beside the Product.
- Insert the 'Start date'.
- Click on 'Save dates'.
- Click on 'Save changes' for the group.
Add offset dates on the objectives - This can be done on the base and the version refreshed from base or edited directly in the version. (If they are changed directly in the version the next version created will not contain the offset dates.)
- View the objectives by clicking on the user menu dropdown, select Product data > Objectives.
- Filter the list of objectives that display by entering the name of the product in the Product field and clicking on the Find button.
- Now select the product from the dropdown. The objectives displayed will be filtered to those contained in the product.
- View the relevant objective.
- Scroll down to the Timing data area, if this is not available click on More and expand the Timing data area by clicking on it.
- Specify the number of days (from the start date specified on the group in which the grades should be transferred) in the Offset Days field beneath 'The finish can be specified as an offset from the start date that is used.'.
- Save the objective.
- Repeat for each of the objectives in the product.
