The steps below summarize describe how to create a curriculum and set the sharing/access from the get-go:
- Access the Curriculum Design Dashboard
- In the Information panel at the lower half of the page click on Create
- Enter a name for the curriculum
- Click on more
- Expand the Ownership and Sharing area
- To provide an organization with access to the curriculum
- Type the name of the curriculum the field for Organization access
- Click on Find
- Choose the Organization and choose the access level from the dropdown
- To provide a section with access to the curriculum
- Type the name of the curriculum the field for Section access
- Click on Find
- Choose the Section and choose the access level from the dropdown
- To provide a specific user, an additional organization or section access
- Click on Additional sharing details link
- Choose from Person, Section and Organization in the Data type dropdown
- Type the name of the item in the Data item filed and click on Find
- Select the item from the dropdown
- Choose the level of access from the Access level dropdown
- Click on Create new sharing record
- Click on Save
The user is now directed to the Curriculum design page where the curriculum development process can begin.
