This feature allows a course developer to specify a ‘trial period’ date/absolute date up to which users can access all Realizeit features for a course i.e. Determine knowledge, learning, practice etc. Thereafter, the students must insert a unique access key to continue accessing the Realizeit content and features. This can now be used in conjunction with the ‘Try out’ area of product, facilitating the user to define a threshold number of learning activities that a user can complete before being locked out. If both an absolute date and a specific activity threshold are defined, whichever is reached first will take effect and the student will be prevented from continuing.

Two different customized messages can be configured to display when the student access the system, one prior to and the other post the cut-off date. These messages encourage students to purchase their course from the outset and allow the key to be entered from within the message area.

Keys can now also be shared across a set of related products to facilitate direct purchasing via an e-commerce third party.
