Export Frameworks are definitions of how content built in Realizeit should be exported for use outside of the system. When an export framework is applied to a product, an output is generated that packages the content used in the product, along with any required resources needed to run it. The output is a self-contained and playable file which has no dependency on Realizeit servers. Further, the output can be specified to conform to standard interoperable formats such as SCORM and Common Cartridge.

Any export will naturally contain the lesson content found in the product. These render as HTML5 pages using the delivery frameworks mechanism. If the original form didn’t use delivery frameworks, then one can be configured to automatically apply upon export. Beyond the lessons, there are also several optional pages which can be included with the output. These can serve as a UI for traversing between and launching the lessons. These are derived based on the product, objective and assessment pages found in Realizeit. These pages are automatically created based on the selected product, but can be styled as desired by the institution.

Realizeit has built two export frameworks that can be employed as they are and/or adjusted by an institution.
