Delivery Constructs allows an institution to define custom objects for use in the authoring tool of HDx lessons. This is an advanced feature allowing creation of enhanced content in Realizeit.
When defining a HDx framework, there can be many novel components created such as slideshows, accordions, etc. These are by their nature specific to the framework, and so do not exist natively as options in the Realizeit authoring tool. Delivery constructs allow these custom components to be defined and understood by the authoring tool. This provides authors with an easy way of adding new constructs, and editing currents ones in the lessons. There is no requirement for the author to understand HTML to use the features of a HDx framework.
Delivery constructs for the Realizeit delivery framework are available to an institution. Custom constructs can be built for other frameworks.
