This article will provide steps to refresh and install/activate individual version packages. 


Scenario: After updates have been made to the base content in order to push the updates to the student a refresh and install/activate will need to be completed on the version product.


In some cases, the update may only affect a single node or nodes contained in the same package. In this situation it is not necessary to refresh the entire product and rather only refresh and install/activate only the package containing the updates.


Steps:

Below are the steps to complete a refresh and install/activate on a single package.

  1. After making an update to the file on the base, locate the name of the base package the file is contained in. 
  2. Locate the product version (Product data > Product) and click on View next to the product code.
  3. Go to Action and select Go to packages. 
  4. Locate the version package name from the list of packages or search for the element (node) name using conditions to locate the version package the node is in. Then click View. 
  5. In the Version details area click on the Refresh from base button and run through the refresh steps. 
  6. Then in the Action area click on the Install and activate button and follow those steps.
